Mexico Trip, Post trip and other updates

Hola…
Wow!! It is hard to believe that 6 weeks have already passed since our team returned home from Mexico. Life has a way of filling up so quickly doesn’t it? I would like to thank you once again for your willingness to hear about our story and about the work that St. Innocents and Project Mexico are doing for the orphans and families in Mexico. Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers throughout the year. Here is the team picture that we took on the last day…

As I mentioned in my last email the pictures from the team have been pushed up to my Flickr account. We had over 900 pictures. If you are interested in checking them out you can find them at http://www.flickr.com/photos/david_b_short/collections/72157634773082902/.

A couple of other items that you could hold in your thoughts and prayers:
  • Tomorrow Laura and I will be heading out on another journey. We will be riding our motorcycle, which will be Laura’s first long distance adventure of this type. We would cherish your thoughts and prayers. We will also be tracking our trip progress at Spotwalla if you would like to see how we are doing. We will also be posting updates on Facebook (david.b.short) and FourSquare. While in California we will be welcoming our 7th grandchild to the family, with number 8 coming in September.
  • I have started working on the planning stage for our 2014 mission trip. We are targeting Mongolia. Please keep this trip in your thoughts and prayers as well. More information to come as this develops.
Once again, if you would like to get more information on Project Mexico and St. Innocent Orphanage you can check them out at http://projectmexico.org/Home.aspx.
Thanks again for your prayers and thoughts. May God Bless you all!
